Last night my bestie and I attended the premiere of a new 10 episode web series “Osiris”, based here in our ever growing city of Atlanta. It was great to see so many people out in support of the project, and the sneak peek that we viewed has me hooked! ‘Osiris’ airs this wednesday, but for now, be sure to check out the trailer here!
Moving along to the fashions…i chose an ensemble of ABE (all black everything) because #1 I was in rush to get home and get dressed,so i didnt have much time to dream up a dramatic costume #2 black always delivers, and gives me an instant confidence when im out and about. I chose to wear the pants that i posted recently because i just cant get enough of them! The’yre definitely worth an elite repeat , in my opinion. <3
Rummaging through my closet yesterday, i reunited with a pair a Michael Kors sandals that id totally forgotten i owned.Though purchased in ‘08 they still give me the same feelings they did the first time i wore them. Lucite+ Leather +Wood, mixed to perfection…how could i ever forget that i loved you?

My weekend has been awesome, and these photos are proof of the great mood ive been in. Spent the entire week hanging out with the people i love the most, minus my mum(she’ll be returning from a week long vacay today! yay!). i apologize for the minimalism the past couple of posts, but ive been attracted to clean silhouettes lately and there’s only one thing simply sexiER than a tee shirt(the tee shirt dress of course)…besides, im wearing thee best accessory i own: my smile! getchu sum! lol

I purchased these pants from a local thrift store recently, with the intentions of converting them into shorts. I was drawn to the high waist and velvet floral pattern at first sight, but the fit is what sold me. Once i returned home to get the measurements, i realized I must get some wear out of them before any altering takes place. Its not very often that i run across a pant that fits perfectly-im totally smitten.

today was breezy, so i broke out a favorite of mine. ive been anticipating the return of my beloved sweaters and cozy socks, so i was pleased to wake up to gloomy weather that required more layering than usual. i love that this sweater looks much older than it actually is. its the simple things, i swear.

i found this shirt 2 years ago at a local thrift store for $1.00 …easily one of my favorites.
with only 27 days left of summer(yes im counting down), Ive been investing my time off enjoying the sun/longer days as much as possible. though im truly looking forward to reuniting with my scarf collection and cooler nights, i cant deny the carefree style that comes with warmer weather.i think ill miss wearing my lucky brand wedges most of all :(

just another manic monday… i received some news today that almost threw me off my rocker, but instead of letting it upset me/ get me off track, im determined to use my frustration as fuel. this life i live is far from perfect, but its worth it.

with my off days being far and few between, i always feel that i need to squeeze a weeks worth of excitement into 24 hours, so i dont usually have time for outfit changes.days such as this leave me no choice but to indulge in light layering. simply taking off my favorite denim shirt and opting for a sexier shoe will take me from my day travels to whatever the night has instore :)
